7 Ways to Keep Your Immune System Healthy

We are all looking to keep our immune systems strong right now. As many of you may know I struggle with what I can eat. This is a problem, especially when I am trying to load nutrients and stay healthy. I have discovered a line of superfoods that even I can use without any issues. These products at yoursuper.com are just the phyto nutrients from plants, NO added junk, artificial flavors, sugar or stevia (which I hate the taste of). Most of us are not getting the required servings of fruits and vegetables a day, so here is an easy was to supplement your diet. Along with these other immune boosting tips you are sure to stay healthy!

WANT TO BUILD A STRONGER IMMUNE SYSTEM?

Follow these 7 ways to stay healthy (and happy) not just during cold and flu season or during a pandemic, but all year long!

EAT MORE PLANTS

Yes it is true! A healthy immune system starts with what you eat. Limit processed foods and increase your intake of fruits and vegetables. Hello green drinks! I love, love Super Greens!

LOAD UP ON VITAMIN C

Vitamin C is a great immune system booster, especially in its natural form of fruits and vegetables. And it's even more effective if you increase your intake BEFORE you start showing signs of getting sick. A great way to supplement your Vitamin C intake is with Forever Beautiful or Vitamin C Boost.

DRINK LOTS OF WATER

Staying hydrated is essential for a healthy immune system. Water helps rid your body of toxins and bacteria, and can ultimately help keep you from getting sick. I recommend drinking around 80-100 ounces a day, its can vary from person to person, but shoot for half of your body weight in ounces everyday.

MANAGE YOUR STRESS

If you are constantly stressed out ( also known as chronic stress), stress hormones can weaken your immune system. Reduce your stress by meditating, getting active, shutting of the news and social media. You can also add a stress managing supplement to your day, I love Your Super Foods, Magic Mushroom and Mellow Yellow.

GET PLENTY OF SLEEP

Sleep is super important to a healthy immune system. In fact, those who don't get enough sleep are more likely to get sick. Get at least 7-9 hours of sleep every night. Zzzzzz

WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY

One of the easiest ways to keep germs from spreading is washing your hands. Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water before eating or preparing food, after using the bathroom, and after sneezing or coughing. Don't forget whenever you leave the house or have touched anything in public to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.

WEAR A DAMN MASK

We are to far into this pandemic to forget or to argue about wearing one! The simple fact is that they protect you and others from YOU! It is such an easy thing for us to do to help stop the spread of this virus, so let's not debate it, JUST DO IT. Wear your mask properly, it should be fully covering your nose and mouth. Most masks have a little wire that you can mold across your nose for a better fit. If yours doesn't have one, cut a small slit and insert a twist tie, pipe cleaner or some sort of small wire. Or find a mask that fits properly! If you are constantly touching and adjusting your mask you are contaminating your hands and then touching things all around you, potentially exposing others, not to mention if you are constantly touching your mask to adjust it you are exposing yourself. If you are wearing a reusable mask, make sure you are washing it after every use. Two reason why. First, you want to keep the mask clean and germ free after being out in public. Second, it is terrible for your skin to put on a dirty mask day after day.
